“If I had to choose one word to describe this personal training studio and its trainers, it would be professionalism. Since my first workout I’ve had a great experience and all the trainers I’ve worked out with have been complete professionals. I wouldn’t consider myself a beginner, as I have worked out quite a bit in the past. However, there came a point where I lost all motivation to work out.
One day I decided to do some personal training sessions as a way to push me into working out again and living a healthier lifestyle. After doing some Googling I found this personal training studio that was just a few blocks from my apartment. I signed up for the personal training trail sessions and thought the trial would be enough to get me motivated to work out on my own. I was so impressed by the quality of the workouts and the professionalism of the trainers that I decided to continue here and so far I’ve been working out here for about two months.
I plan to continue to work out here as the workouts are diverse and very well thought out, but most importantly, I’m seeing results! I highly recommend PPP.”

“I was looking for a trainer to help me get in shape before I moved to another state for school. I barely ever went to the gym, always felt weak, and literally used to get tired just from climbing a couple of stairs.
Lyen was absolutely amazing. She knows so much and is able to figure out exactly what you need and where you need the most work to strengthen your entire body. We did a different workout everyday, so my workouts were never repetitive. She also tailored them to my level exactly to make sure I wouldn’t get injured doing something I wasn’t ready for. So I started off training using just my body weight and then once I got stronger, we started doing weight training. I worked with her for two months and the changes I felt in my body in that short time were more than I ever thought possible. My endurance increased, I had more energy throughout the day, and I just FELT stronger.
I wish I had found out about this gym earlier so I could have had more time to train with Lyen, but this was a great foundation for me to begin exercising regularly. I’m definitely going to try to go back to her when I’m in Miami for breaks.”

Nowadays, people are more aware about health and fitness than ever before. But we are constantly bombarded with information and this can lead to misconceptions. Most of us desire to be thin and may end up taking the “easy” way, which may have severe repercussions on our bodies and our health.
What is fitness?
The first step to developing an effective fitness program and to achieving optimum health, is to understand that fitness and nutrition are two sides of the same coin. A fit body is one that has cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance, strength, flexibility and optimal body composition. Most of the time, we fail to consider this and only concentrate on losing weight. But it is important to remember that losing weight and having a good body composition is not the same thing.
What is body composition?
Body composition is the right proportion of fat and muscle in your body. But the number we see on our scale can cause confusion. One must understand that body weight is made up of skeletal mass, muscles, organs, water, body fluids and fat.
In today’s world, with significant improvements in technology, body weight is an archaic concept. If you weigh a lot, do not be alarmed, but if you have a high percentage of fat in your body you may need to worry. You need to consider that muscle mass is heavier/denser than fat. A seemingly thin body frame with a low body weight should be considered a sign of poor health ONLY if the muscle mass is low. Understand that irrespective of shape and size what is important is to have less fat and more muscle in your body – this is what defines health in very simple terms.
Therefore achieving the right body composition should be the first goal for everyone. The only way to accomplish this goal is by incorporating a good workout and eating healthy food into your everyday lifestyle.Read More »
Watch international figure competitor, fitness model and and personal trainer Lyen Wong do her annual birthday workout. It’s her 39th this year…
Lyen also does individual birthday workouts with our clients if they’re lucky (or foolish) enough to come in for a training session on their special day!
“Great Investment ★★★★★
I have suffered from knee problems for several years and it has limited the types of exercises i can accomplish and my range of motion. Lyen sat with me to get a detailed history and then took the time to research safe alternatives and modifications to exercises that would keep me on track toward my goals. Lyen is the consummate professional, the workouts are never boring and always a challenge. Also extremely important to me is that she takes great pride in the business and as such the trainers on staff are top notch and the facility is immaculate.”
